I didn't like the beta like that but I love the full game. Just play it and stop listening to other folks opinions
Its not rocket science in regards to those modes. I also mentioned the co-op play too. But you choose to pick and choose your talking points as you do the usual meach cape job

I'm listening to my own opinion. There's no matchmaking and the crux of the game relies on my ability to coordinate playtime with 5 other people. That's not feasible for my life right now. And the game as released is much different than the game I thought was being made. Admittedly some of that is my fault, but most if it is from misleading marketing and bad design decisions.
And why don't you buy every game that comes out if you can't form an opinion without playing?
You obviously have no clue how the game was marketed. Just stop

Everything has matchmaking except the raids. It won't be hard to find 5 other Coli brehs online atleast not on the ps4
I agree the co-op play is a "main marketing topic". but it's also implicit that co-op play would involve a story, unless the whole game is just a mindless 'hoard mode'

Is it just me or does Peter Dinklage take you out of the game. The voice acting he did was sub par at best with no real emotion. Maybe its because it had no personality to it and I keep wanting to compare it to Cortana which was light years better.

They probably could have got Troy Baker for a discount and more effort for the voice acting
Man I just made it up to the strike on venus and there was prolly 8 cutscenes totaling a half hour that got pretty in depth on what you're doing and why.
It ain't great but it's more than a mindless hoard mode and more fleshed out than, text at the beginning and maybe a cutscene at the end. During the missions there is a ton of exposition explaining stuff too.
The quality of the story is a little mediocre though. They jacking tropes from Mass Effect and shyt
But it's interesting enough, and the world itself is awesome.
I don't think it's fair to say there is barely a story though, especially only using the beta as reference, there is much more stuff going on after you leave Russia.

The raids are the most important part of the game. And finding people to play with isn't the problem. Setting up time for extended uninterrupted play with 3 small children to care for isn't very easy to do. If I get a chance it's unplanned, and I'm not getting a Friday babysitter to play video games.

Another thing I wanna know is where did all the money go? 500 million is a huge budget and I'm having trouble seeing it in this game. I can see the big chunk they used on advertising but thats about it. The actual game though doesnt reflect the budget, at least in my opionion.

breh it's 500 Million for every game they make in the Destiny franchise for the next 10 years
This is another expectation thing, people really think 500 million was spent on this one game, I'd guess 80 on the game 50 on advert
