However, I very much could see a player being turned off by having to repeat missions, by overly long-boss fights and the very specific storytelling techniques or the fact that everything feels ripped out of a pulpy sci-fi novel that thinks it’s serious."

I need some legit review sources. I'm still waiting it out. Can't play until the weekend anyway.
Y'all making this shyt overly complicated. Just try the game out by rental if y'all that worried about it. Even if 10 reviews from "credible" critics were published now, that wouldn't guarantee you'd like it.
I don't think I'm gonna like it, but I'm waiting it out. I should rent it though. I never do that shyt.

I told everyone here the game should have been in two modes the open world mmo mode and a solid campaign solo player story campaign with a cast of characters and backstory... but did we get that shyt... no!!!!!
What we got was a mix of the two that is turning off traditional fps gamers. but hey it's made by bungie, the guys who did halo... it's cool.
