Early Destiny Impressions.

People's opinions are just that, their opinion.... destiny doesnt appeal to ALL gamers.... that's what it boils down to...

I feel you. Just seems like lots of nitpicking that lots of gamers have glossed over on other games.

I can see why its a polarizing game though.

My impressions from actually playing the game

I gotta figure out how to get the music and shyt on there...I need to drop a video of me hulk smashing with my titan from off the top rope.

No one care about leveling up when the story is ass

Geez I wonder why people play bf4 so much.

So far every mission has been run up to something deploy Ghost and listen to it go on and on about nonsense and gibberish then run to another location fighting straggler enemies on the way. reach the destination and when you do you can't respawn anymore then fight off a wave of enemies then the level ends. sometimes there's a boss type enemy. maybe its cause I just did the first mission of the second area the moon. hopefully later the missions become something more than just doing the same thing over and over.

Bosses and levels get crazier though. Me and a couple of coli brehs had to fight the gate guardian or some shyt, it was we died like 6 times

not really. A good story can carry a game alone. Good gameplay can carry a game that lacks story. I'd say they're both equal.

I'm personally more prone to play a game I would actually enjoy playing, then slogging through an interesting story.

Story + Gameplay > Gameplay alone...

A good story is a bonus but I'm not buying video games to be constantly blown away by the stories they tell, and I bet people playing MMO's, dungeon crawlers, MOBA's, fighters, platformers, sports games, racing games and FPS games aren't either.
