I never said the game didnt have its problems. Of course im gonna defend the game if I feel its being wrongly judged. you dont even own the shyt so all your arguments are based off of other people's opinons. the game doesnt deserve a 6, at all. thats below average. this is a well made shooter and should be treated as such.

I played it and these were my initial impressions

The story missions feel disjointed and uninteresting. They aren't the large scale sandboxes like halo, they all are just:
Land in an empty field
Shoot a couple dudes
Walk/ride to the objective
Pull out your ghost
Watch a countdown till the mission ends

And I was told "wait for the full game"

this is the longest i've played a FPS game without wanting to chuck the game out of the window.

The Walking Dead Season 1 got GOTY nods and it basically has no gameplay so there's clearly something to say about story being on par with gameplay.

Visual novels are the future, but let's not act like throughout the history of games, gameplay hasn't been one of the most important factors in enjoying a game.

A great story is a bonus, I love for my games to have great stories being told and to experience them, but I'm not going to act like story has precedence over gameplay, because it doesn't.

you aren't lying (those beacon missions) but guess what even with all that it's still fun just like Titanfall don't got no damn story but it's fun just like GTAV Story was short as fukk but it was fun all games have their faults b...Halo story trash as fukk to me but it's fun

Lots of people on both consoles are realistic about the game and not pretending criticisms don't exist despite their enjoyment.

Some people can't be objective about the matter due to starvation induced delusion.

Furthermore, anyone else who's opinion doesn't align with yours(Isn't all that) is saying that due to starvation and delusion?? My goodness, you are really meaching right now.

The critiques I have for the game don't bog down the game's enjoyment. The game as it is right now TO ME is fun as fukk! Of course there are things that can be done better but why the hell would I try and constantly bring up shyt that doesn't really affect my enjoyment?? Would the game be better if it had huge set pieces and in depth character arch progression story wise?? Most likely yes but then again this isn't a solo fps, it's an MMO based co-op/PVP shooter so based off that fact it was pretty obvious you weren't going to get a big story. Last night I was doing a mission on the moon with my friend and a random, not once during it did anyone say "Gee I wonder what happened here??" We were just immersed into fukking up whatever is on the screen. The music that was playing, the enemies that were coming, the boss fight at the end was just amazing. Also, there are story bits told by the ghost and stuff so it's not like nothing was being said. I honestly wouldn't have even cared about talking about the story had it not been for online. It's seriously sad to come online and see such a vocal minority wanting to see a popular game fail(which it won't.)


The issues I have with the game can only improve it, but the issues aren't so severe that they hamper my enjoyment. You guys just want to bash the game because quite simply, it's a Bungie game that's now on Playstation. I can guarantee you if this was just an Xbox One game you'd be shouting off of rooftops about how good it is. PLEASE don't lie, you'd be saying it's the goat shooter next to Halo. I know y'all nikkas man. Y'all pathetic.

It just comes down to personal preference as to how much the shortcomings effect your overall enjoyment with the game.

The fukk you laughing at?? Halo campaigns aren't all that memorable. Halo 1 was a slog with some fun bits interspersed here and there. Halo 3 was boring pretty much the whole time except for that scarab fight. halo reach put me to sleep. Halo 4 was kind of enjoyable but again it was forgettable.

Destiny's story mission were way more exciting gameplay wise. Turning up in a room full of hive knights and witches with Nova Bombs, rocket launchers and fusion rifles>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>anything that went down in Reach.

Now y'all gonna switch it up and act like y'all play Halo because of a well written story??

Destiny's story mode feels like Spartan Ops from Halo 4 but with hype ass music and chaos. fukk do I care what that little ghost nikka talking about?? Gimme shyt to shoot nikka. .
