pretty laughable that the neighborhood play only exists because of the dangers of the dirty takeout slide, yet this wasnt a neighborhood play

you cant really argue clean/dirty play, because even if its 50/50 whether it was a legal slide per mlb's judgment rules, it was 100% a dirty play. the most absurd part is how a guy can be given a base when he never even put in effort to touch it, and started his "slide" past the base. if a runner doesnt even try to get in safely to the bag, which is literally his only goal on the basepaths, and collides with a fielder it can only be ruled interference. what else can it be?
