How many division titles? Meaningful deep playoffs runs?
Not many because the league was better then.

That proves what about the 90s squads vs. them?
:dahell: You bring up some individual stats like thats suppose to mean something. How many finals appearance? How many top seeds? You criticize me for praising the pacers for playing Jordan hard when you do the same with an 80s mavs squad.
i criticize you for saying those 90s squads were good. They weren't. I said the 80s squad were better. NOTHING I did was similar to you. You found those Pacers to be good. I didn't knowing I saw better.

baby, that was the old me
why do you keep name dropping singular players whos teams did absolutely nothing? who fukking cares about larry johnsons hornets? or millers pacers, or the cant get over the hump knicks, or the barely there magic? last years hawks wax those teams, let alone this seasons cavs

Last years hawks were flukiest team I've ever seen:francis:

Absolute pretenders would get washed by the reggie millers pacers, Knicks and especially Magic

magic would be a competitive series, but there was nothing remotely special about those knicks or pacers squads. the hawks team would beat them just off the style of play, they were simply a better team and played a better game

Home team is from the East but this might have been the worst showing for conference ever :snoop:

Detroit, Indy, Charlotte, Boston, Atlanta. Toronto making the ECF :scusthov:

Word, then nikkas get all mad when you say this the weakest the NBA has Been, you can't name one superstar on any of those teams.

:scust:

Haven't watched one game from the east yet.

The poster that you're talking to is simply out of his mind.

The East back in the 90s was far more competitive. It isn't even close.

Jordan went up against...the Knicks

Ewing, Starks, Mason, Charles Oakley, Derek harper etc

The Pacers

Mark Jackson, Dale Davis, Antonio Davis, Rik Smits and Reggie Miller

Orlando

Shaq, Penny, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Scott Skiles

Charlotte Hornets with

Zo, Larry Johnson, Mugsy Bogues, Kendall Gill, Dell Curry etc etc

the Hawks with

D Wilkins, Steve Smith, Mookie Blaylock, Stacey Augman, Kevin Willis etc etc

On any given year in the early -mid 90s that was the rotation of competition in the East...It aint even close :wow:

Any one of those teams back then could win the East in this day and age..

Muggsy Bogues would have locked up kyrie Irving :jawalrus:.

The Magic and the knicks were the only teams that that could take this current Cavs team at least to 6. Don't forget that they werent Championship ready and the Knicks are chokers.

Last time East had 2 or more good teams was from 08-10. Between the Celtics, Magic and the Cavs the East playoffs were actually fun to watch
