Nah now it's gonna be LeBron can't get it doneThe ECF is now tied 2-2. Now can we dead the whole "LeBron has an easy path to the Finals every year" narrative?![]()

The 90s East was better than the current East
The early 90s it was Pistons, Celtics, Sixers and a young Bulls team
The mid to late 90s it was Bulls, Knicks, Magic and Pacers
The Pacers took LA to 6 games so they weren't garbage
The Shaq-Penny Magic would cause the Cavs problems today, would probably beat them
The Ewing Knicks.....who in the East today is guarding Ewing?
The Bad Boy Pistons were still around in the very early 90s
The Celtics were still formidable in the early 90s before Bird retired
Jordan was just better than all of them. But those teams weren't garbage. Outside of Miami and Cleveland, the East is garbage.

This Toronto team is no different than those Pacers teams that "played MJ hard!!"
THE PACERS ONLY FACED THE BULLS ONE TIME IN THE PLAYOFFS.

And can we also dead the whole "the ECF isn't competitive like it was in the 90s/early '00s" narrative too?The ECF is now tied 2-2. Now can we dead the whole "LeBron has an easy path to the Finals every year" narrative?![]()

99-04 it was competitive. The teams were all just trashAnd can we also dead the whole "the ECF isn't competitive like it was in the 90s/early '00s" narrative too?![]()
I said them too. Both average as fukk teams
THE PACERS ONLY FACED THE BULLS ONE TIME IN THE PLAYOFFS.
YOU COULD HAVE ATLEAST SAID THE KNICKS.

We all can agree cavs gonna stomp out the raptors the next two games right?
those chancey billups/rip/sheed/Wallace Piston teams were pretty good though.99-04 it was competitive. The teams were all just trash
Those Pistons scored 90 points per game though. They had 1-2 reliable shooters from deep and no bench. I think all their starters played over 38 minutes per game. If Wade doesn't get hurt in game 5 of the conference finals in 2005, Miami advances and they're probably remembered as just a Cinderella run, albeit a massive Cinderella run in 2004those chancey billups/rip/sheed/Wallace Piston teams were pretty good though.
but yea. the East was competititve for a long time.
just that all the teams were so trash.
they were competitive trash though....until they played the West.
it was their defense that drove them though. Those Pistons scored 90 points per game though. They had 1-2 reliable shooters from deep and no bench.
