But the Bulls beat every team that kame out of the west too. The west won 6 of 9 finals from 2000 to 2009. Without lebron/wade/bosh the east would have no titles in 2012-2013
The Bulls were the better team always though. Doesn't stop the east from being trash back then.

The east is trash now because no team in the east could compete with the west in the finals except for lebron voltron in Miami. That's the difference between the east in the 90s and the east now. The east had a team who could slaughter the east then the west in the finals. Lebron carries the flag for the east and is about to lose 3 straight and 4 in this decade. Only 5 final wins for the east in the past 16 years. The east won 5 finals in the 80s alone.

Okay and that still doesn't stop the east from being trash in the 90's especially the early 90's. The mid to late 90's Bulls had three of the best players at their position. Best SG, Best SF, Best Defensive PF. They were going to win if they played in the east or west. Still doesn't make the East good in the 90's.

Yes, but GS is the only team they did not beat...

True. I was getting at the people who are going with the narrative that the Cavs were inferior to the West when they swept the Thunder and Clippers.

I don't even like the Warriors like that but it's clear they have too many weapons for not only the Cavs but the rest of the league.

But they were better than right now. The eastern conference won 10 finals in 16 years of 1980 to 1996. Detroit back to back 1989-1989 and Bulls three peat. Only 2 west teams won in those years and it was 6 years between their victories. The Magic lakers and the dream rockets kompared to Boston and then Detroit in a few years apart from each other, then the bulls. Only 5 finals wins from eastern teams from 2000-2016. Bron-Voltron in Miami is the only team that won back to back in 16 years since the start of the new millennium.

Iverson's team wasn't garbage but he just couldn't beat a Shaq in his prime.
My point is the way the post was constructed he was clearly tryna name individual players as if east teams weren't garbage then. East overall is much better

Honestly, they can keep the schedules as is. Yes, a couple western conference teams might not make the playoffs while a couple east teams do because of the easier opponents, but the bottom 3-4 teams aren't beating the true contenders regardless. No one's gonna shed tears because Chicago and Washington make the playoffs over Houston and Memphis. The outcome in the postseason is gonna be the same in the first round.
You just defeated the whole point of a 1-16 seeding.

Now you dragging 80's teams into the argument. It's a known fact Jordan didn't win shyt until Magic, Bird, Thomas, etc. were pretty much done. Then he was the man as he was the lone true superstar in the league and had a trusty sidekick in Pippen and a pretty solid PF in Grant. That still does not stop the east from being garbage. If Cleland comes back and wins the series, that won't stop the East from being garbage.

lets take a look at them vs portland. only played twice. barely beat lilard and crew by 5 points. the other game they got blown out.

2015-16 Team Comparison - Portland Trail Blazers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers - National Basketball Association - ESPN
