Misleading record because they can essentially "rest up" when they play eastern teams, which they do most of the season



No, blame David Stern and now Adam Silver for allowing it to happen and giving eastern teams basically no reason to get better

Easy fix is just to have a 1-16 playoff seeding, overnight every east team will be scrambling to get substantially better

no they wouldn't. You gotta realize you can't just throw a 1-16 system in and not fix the ridiculous draft lottery. Some of these teams are also historically dumb (Billy King). It isn't that simple

When you're in the trash east, you need to do very little to make the playoffs, a strategy used is just tanking every year (76ers) till you draft a GOATcan or LeBron type player that will elevate you to the top immediately. That shyt wouldn't fly with a 1-16 seed
