They're trying to do Black Men what they did with Asian boys/males.

I've noticed over the past 10 years more ads with Black Girls/Women, and no Black male around. Or it's very gay Black male.

TV shows aimed at kids, most off the Black boys are lames and straight up nerds.
Man I saw one of the most disgusting commercials and can't even remember what they were selling but an old black grandfather is playing with his mixed grandchild having the time of his life his daughter/ the child's mother walks in (brown skinned black woman) and smiles. The grandfather smiles back and then the shot widens and you see she's holding hands with a white woman who is supposed to be the father/mother and the black grandfather smiling all proud. fukking disgusting.

It’s called colonization. What do you think white folks been doing for hundreds of years?:dwillhuh: It started this generation with the gentrification of black neighborhoods in major cities. But in the past few years, the colonization has come full circle. White men with black women used to be rare. It was usually only the most down whiteboy who grew up predominantly around black folks and had a platinum lifetime cookout pass (i.e. Jon B, Paul Wall). But now, it’s the whitest of the whitest Bradley’s with black women in many places in mainstream American society. Black women dating white men becomes normalized because of the constant bombardment of images of wm/bw interracial couples in the media. Whiteboys also have recently colonized streetwear and the sneaker game to the point where they low key own these things. Nothing is supposed to be off limits for white people in an inherently white supremacist society. :unimpressed: They like Eminem saying he up in the house of Hip Hop with his feet up and he ain’t a guest. :leostare: White people feast off the cultural buffet of everyone else when it becomes acceptable in the mainstream.

What’s interesting is if you know anything about South and Central American countries that are mostly made of mixed breeds is that there are tons of old ass paintings depicting families with a white father, a black or indigenous mother and a mixed race child. These countries are full of mixed breeds because white men used their privileged status in society to easily fukk all the non-white women in Latin America. Sounds familiar don’t it? The more things change the more they stay the same. :ld:

Demographics are being skewed for marketing....and I guess social programming. Let's not even talk about the over representation of gay black characters, it's been gettin just a little overboard.

Additionally, Black womens love for the material will continue to be exploited in this high driven capitalist society..….mixing these couple set ups with the selling of goods and the continuous cornball choices of the athletes and their Becky’s :comeon:, I mean c’mon, was the obvious destination….

it’s literally too expensive for brands to have to shoot and make separate Black and white audience segmented ads. The easy solve is to just blend the couples. Saves millions.

But who are they targeting? I don’t see any group who’s generally in favor of these type of ads. Black audiences or white ones. Nobody wants to see it so I can’t imagine consistently turning out IR ads = beneficial. I don’t believe for one second it has to do with saving money, I think companies want to appear “woke” and in doing so, they want to show blended families. It’s like how every show now has an LGBT character. It’s the new “see, we’re woke!” flag.
