This. At the the rate US is going they look they are going to end up just like Russia. A country with dusty ass nukes and nothing to show for it economically. Isolation is never a good thing if you are trying to be a world power. No empire lasts forever. Just like China won’t last forever there is always a country that is willing to do product for the low that the world will invest in because product are cheaper for the consumer. The last time America really had it like that is when they had slaves working for free. America didn’t want to make it right so now they are going to suffer the consequences and America had multiple times to do things right.
