@Miami316 Breh.. if you look at how Ray and Ed Tackle, they have never lead with the crown of their helmets and made some of the biggest hits in football history. Looking back now, I don't think anyone drafted better NFL talent then The U use too..

The U was the ultimate football factory. Yeah it's always knees and hips bent, leading with the shoulder and forearms. Even gives the chance to drive through the ball and force an incompletion or a fumble. Never seen a pair of defenders with better instincts or a higher football IQ than them. Flawless technique too, even if Reed would get reckless at times on passes or returns. Them gambles felt like they almost always paid off. We need him to coach our secondary.

That 2001 Miami that won the BCS championship literally was an NFL squad. Theres still Pro Bowl caliber players from that team in the league

Troy deserves to be in canton. Yeah his hair is famous but it'd be ignorant to sleep on how great a player he's been. He's no Ed Reed though. Even said it himself.
Don't get me wrong Troy is great but I think they overrated him a bit since he's on the Steelers. He left Ike Taylor out to dry many times

Ed can still cover the field, doesn't matter if he's old. He still has the Instinct that none of our safeties or any other safety has. We have a better front 7 then years before so he wont need to be tackle as much. But he was a big part of the mutiny so Harbaugh's ego will never let it happen.

All the more reason that him and everyone who has a role in the secondary on our staff has to go.
