lol chill I wouldn't call trone a neocon. But compared to Raskin he doesn't measure up. I respect trone as a businessman, he put his own shyt up and treats employees well

But I keep telling people, there's a huge divide in the Jewish community in DC over Israel. JVP is really popular and many DC Jews would spit on Bill Kristol SR if they saw him

There is a huge divide in the Jewish communit everywhere, Israel included, but the voices of the minority get drowned out and they are characterized as traitors.

I read Trone's foreign policy response and was immediately turned off. Anyone explicitly calling for the protection of Israel, when it's not the topic at hand, is in neocon/zionist territory. It's completely unnecessary. You're in America, not Iran. The validity of a Jewish state is, for the most part, unquestionable. In reality, all you're doing is forcing others from being able to view the situation objectively.

Agreed except that Montgomery county might have more than a minority of those that anti AIPAC

Lotta folk around the area believe AIPAC does more harm than good

Raskin attends Temple Sinai, you're gonna find a mixed bag there but at least they wanna talk about it openly instead of demanding loyalty like some other congregations

It's not a case of a next Obama. Obama is probably a once in a generation type talent. As was Bill Clinton. Those dudes don't grow on trees.

Edwards just showed many black candidates can't win without a broad coalition. Yea she had white feminists in her corner alongside some blacks but it wasn't enough. I think she's finished. Not enough friends to bring her back, and Brown is probably next up.

Brown always had next imo. DMV wanted their own Obama. They had him follow O'Malley For a decade to prepare him.

Btw I don't really follow Baltimore...how did Brown lose the governor race? O'Malley was unpopular at the end or just bad time nationally for democrats? Sounds like Logan is very popular now.
