This might be a unpopular opinion but I feel like BG3 feels better with a controller. Menus are harder to navigate but actually controlling your characters feels more immersive than clicking around the screen.
Agreed. the only downside is trying to find spells through the menu, and u scrolling for 5 minutes looking for em

Outside of being CRPGs, their game play systems are completely different. BG3 based off of D&D(lots of randomness).
It feels like they added D&D rules and mechanics to the gameplay structure of divinity original sin. Acting like those games are nothing alike is wild.

The reused boss argument for ER is whatever. I'm trying to think of main story bosses thats you fight over and over and drawing a blank.

Its like the sidequest shyt in FF7R you are complaining about a problem you literally dont even have to interact with if it bothers you.

Godfrey, Margitt/Margott, Godskin duo
But sure, lets ignore half the game and pretend like the praise is only based on the mandatory content for the credits to roll :pachaha:

Each of these bosses differ from each other when you fight the other version. Godskin Duo isn't even a repeat unless you go all out of your way to fight the one in caelid tower, which is optional.

Even then, the ones you mentioned are vastly different bosses...

Thats exactly what they did. Which just trading what is annoying about the game from having to scout every encounter and set traps and shyt to win, to having to deal with rng and managing your spells.

I preferred DOS2 a lot more though because I generally hate rng in games that is only there to piss you off.

BG3 and Cyberpunk are 1A and 1B to me. I can't decide. It depends on the day.

Elden Ring is a distant third.

E33 was a fun little game, but it doesn't rank to me. Like it would struggle to be a top 10 release for me in 2023 alone.

Similar like SF5-6, RE5-6, but they don't play the same. In DSO2 you could have every skill on any unit, all skills on at the same time, and cycle through abilities like an MMO. BG3 has a whole different set of rules.

Outside of being CRPGs, their game play systems are completely different. BG3 based off of D&D(lots of randomness).

They’re not the same, but they’re similar and follow from the same formula. To me, this is like saying Sekiro isn’t similar to Dark Souls 3

Y’all got it though, we don’t have to go back and forth

Cyberpunk? Lol. Everyone was on that game’s neck when it dropped now it’s a generational game?:comeon:
Anyway the answer is E33 for me. I haven’t played BG3 and I want to try ER eventually.

Its really only a few optional bosses that reused animations from previous bosses.

People acting like 70 percent of elden ring was lazily recycled content are full of shyt.

Any game that was broken for over a year and required paid dlc to feel like a complete game is disqualified from this conversation.
