Elden Ring Hunters :ehh:

My Joey wants to play this game, but I digress, since he can barely finish a game on easy :why:

Let's get the most important caveat out of the way first: If you are hoping to tackle Nightreign entirely solo, and are anything less than a hardcore Elden Ring player that actively seeks out ways to make that already difficult game even more challenging, Nightreign isn't for you. Yes, there is technically a single-player option, but it is so poorly balanced that I would be shocked if it isn't patched and adjusted within the first month of release. And this is coming from someone who lives and breathes these types of games.

In the latest patch notes for the new FromSofrware game, the game's developers explained that the PC version currently have a number of performance issues on "the latest graphics cards".

FromSoftware did not confirm which specific graphics cards actually suffer from performance issues, although we'd assume the issue relates to Nvidia RTX 50-series cards and AMD Radeon 9000-series cards. However, there's no confirmation which specific cards have these issues.

If you have one of these "latest" GPUs, FromSoftware suggests turning down your graphics options or even lowering screen resolution. Obviously, this doesn't actually solve the core issue, but it should make the game smoother to play.

"We have confirmed that some PC configurations using the latest graphics cards may experience framerate drops," the developer said. "We are currently investigating the cause. In the meantime, If you experience significant framerate drops, you may be able to resolve it by setting the graphics settings from the default "High" to "Medium" or "Low" and lowering the screen resolution, as well as installing the latest drivers for your graphics card."

The game is chaos. Finished one session and it was fun, but I feel some of the jankiness of the animations with the increased speed makes things a bit too mayhem. Managing my inventory on the fly + things like status effects and consumables seem like it's going to be winged while playing. Made it to day 3's Nightlord as Recluse with two others and got stomped. Think it will be successful :ehh: especially for those looking for a frenzy
