It will def be weird exciting just exploring the world and having a random boss dropped on your head.
I’m still wondering if there will be an actual structured narrative with cutscenes and a plot and all that?

If I had to guess there will be progress gates where they’ll fill in the story. Tbh once I get the basic layout, other than Sekiro, I just figure out where to go, what I need to do, and who to fight.
I leave the story for YouTubers to fill in
Looks brazy. Looks like a legitimate successor to the Souls games.

Yeah honestly kind of crazy to think a series known for its twisty metroidvania esque level design is going completely open world and even allows you to enter dungeons from multiple locations.
The level of secrets in this game is gonna be insane
Really want to go into this one blind. Skimmed a few seconds of the new video, looked incredible and closed it immediately lol

But this is closer to a Demon Souls > Dark Souls type spiritual successor than a real new ip like Bloodborne or Sekiro. Which is fine, I'm still excited but kinda wish this was at least more visually and thematically distinct

On the plus side, a lot of ppl should be experiencing their first Souls game in 60 frames

DS3 is 60, i think DS Remastered is also and Demons

They had to update those, or they’re remasters/remakes (unless you’re talking PC. I was talking consoles)
There’s probably a fraction of ppl who went back to them just to get 60

Pretty sure the majority of soulsborne fanatics have played those at 60.
There's a reason why there's a large amount of people crying to sony about updating Bloodborne to run at 60 on PS5
