Because I assume ppl know how to use the internet. The reasons are right there in the record books, stat books and NFL history. Look at what he did and base that off of the criteria that other HOF QB's got in with. If you do this, there's no obvious reason why he shouldn't get in.

- Has missed the playoffs 7 out of 12 seasons

- Outside of two really good playoff runs, he hasnt won a playoff game (3 1 and dones)
- 83.5 passer rating in this pass happy era
Now he'll probably get in bcz of the 2 sbmvps and the fact he'll be high on the all time td lists but that doesnt look like a hof resume to me.
You'll probably say "well look at such and such (Namath) resume and hes in so should eli", but that doesnt mean they should be in either
