If your bank has so many assets that breaking you up and causing a devaluation of your company's worth would also cause a stock market crash then you're too big.

Thats why Hillary couldn't do universal, nor could Obama. Bernie's bill won't go nearly as far as Warrens, because warren is actually a serious policy-maker.

Does he feel this way about the coal industry? What about fracking? Police brutality? Over-priced prescription drugs? Hospital monopolies? For-profit colleges?
It's a laughable position.
Personally I feel that the finance industry gets too much flack because theres a sheer lack of accountability from consumers.
I'm ALL for regulation, SEC expansion, more white collar prosecutions, etc. I'm ALL for it.
But some of this penalization of success seems straight up pandering.
Thats why I linked to Hillary's option up top. She's not penalizing prosperity. She's shifting expectations of how people interact with business and changing culture. Thats a bigger project and one that incentivizes similar redistribution but a lot more naturally.

This may very well DECREASE crony socialism & decrease govt involvement in businesses.
If everyone owns the company I cannot foresee so much lobbying as we have now.
