i haven't read through this thread nor did i read the Bowie/Kendrick thread...i assume both where met with the same reaction ?

:sas2:

the comparison is a stretch but guys like David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Todd Rundgren, Elton John himself all as well as putting out music liked to have an over the top look to go with it however outlandish it was and Thug is doing it in his own way...its more of a hinderance in this realm of music and in the 2000's because i think Thug is pretty talented and his antics off the mic make him too much of a polarizing figure.

also, gay jokes aside, i can see why Elton John would like Young Thug because of the way he plays around with voice and flows.
and its pretty interesting to me that Elton John heard Thug on that Jamie XX song and delved in more into him to the point he knows he's in some sort of legal trouble instead of just liking a song and keeping it moving.

Not that it matters to Hip Hop but that's a big compliment from a musical legend
No, that's an agenda approved compliment for the gay movement...and it's not a great look for thug (even tho most of his listeners could give a fukk bout some Elton John)

Formulating music with complex/interesting vocal texture, implementing a large array of unique cadences and accent not common in within the genre or related genres with his very very light enunciations, bright adlibs, use of vocal drones, unique and eccentric melodies, and more.

Thugga is a genius and like I said
if u cant recognize it u dont know music in the slightest
This is why dude is perceived to be hated on. Due to his gay trolling and his fakkit ass fanbase saying shyt like in bold, dude is very polarizing.

Thugger can rap for shyt, can't even spit a pre written then why is he considered hip hop? Legit the only thing I've heard people praise him for is his voice or flow.. If that's the case then he shouldn't be considered hip hop considered he has zero elements of being it.. Not one. Does being black and singing over a hip hop beat automatically make you a hip hop artists? Unless the standard is so damn low for hip hop these days that moaning over a trap beat = hip hop

You're white. Stop.
