i haven't read through this thread nor did i read the Bowie/Kendrick thread...i assume both where met with the same reaction ?



the comparison is a stretch but guys like David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Todd Rundgren, Elton John himself all as well as putting out music liked to have an over the top look to go with it however outlandish it was and Thug is doing it in his own way...its more of a hinderance in this realm of music and in the 2000's because i think Thug is pretty talented and his antics off the mic make him too much of a polarizing figure.

also, gay jokes aside, i can see why Elton John would like Young Thug because of the way he plays around with voice and flows.
and its pretty interesting to me that Elton John heard Thug on that Jamie XX song and delved in more into him to the point he knows he's in some sort of legal trouble instead of just liking a song and keeping it moving.
