Besides stats, I don't think some know or remember how stacked the wealthier franchises were back then. Denver was not one of these stacked franchises that had 5 or 6 hall of famers on one side of the damn ball that played on one team most of their career. Still baffles the mind that Elway's Broncos were in the same league as the Giants, Eagles, Cowboys, 49ers, Bills, Oilers, Bears of that era. Was watching a 1988 Giants vs Cowboys game. Cowboys sucked that year, but cotdamn at the Giants defense. Was thinking about that early 90s Eagles defense. Cot damn!
