I’m a big Elzhi fan but started to get very skeptical hearing certain descriptions of this album. Usually when i hear people say stuff like “it’s different but…”, that means it stinks but you’re convincing yourself otherwise. Glad that’s not the case. There’s some funky and jazzy production, but still has some punch behind it, and Elzhi perfectly messes with it. Honestly makes me want to go back to listen to Jericho Jackson.

Couple good songs but most of the production is weak. Why do the drums sound so flushed out. Elzhi gotta link with some real producers again.

Georgia Anne Muldrow is an amazing musician.
Pairing her with Elzhi was inevitably going to produce fly shyt.
This is an ill project.

I met her around 2005 in DC at bar nun when she had her band called worth nothing's..cool ass people and she was cool as shyt. She had this jazzy sound to her. I just loved her shyt. No one in the crowd was that excited but to me there was something there. Bought her CD and to this day I play her stuff out of nostalgia. There was her, Raheem davaughn, tabby bonnet, dirty water, this dude called Mustafa and this ugly nikka called pretty face :lolbron:
They put on a show. I'm just glad she's established in the industry.

Her album A Thoughtiverse Unmarred is really good...one of my favorite vinyl records she's rapping and singing on there as well...

Yup, this is probably album of the year for me. Elzhi evolved a lil bit on the project which is kinda crazy to me. It very focused.

yeah I've pretty much listened to all the "hot" releases this year (that I was interested in), and this is easily it for me.

Hell, I couldn't really even be bothered to post in the other threads :mjlol:
