North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
All the talent, He's had to work with and he hasn't been able to make it work. He always defers to management and it seems like he doesn't try to give input into roster moves. Paring him with another "super star" talent doesn't work for him, but also think if you do pair a super start with Embid, the offense can't run through him.

And he's not an MVP caliber player. He doesn't make players better, and he's basically the Alpha by default.

Until you bring a ring to the franchise, they don't give a fukk about your input in management/personnel decisions.
And even then, they don't give a fukk.

You nikkas say anything on here :deadmanny:

I hope people ignore this

But it's true. He couldn't make it work with Simmons, and it's too the point where he's all star point guard didn't want nothing to do with him. He wasn't able to convince Jimmy Butler to stay. He rarely shows up in big moments and blames losses on too many people. He's telling the media, Harden needs to be more aggressive. I mean, he's already scoring more than Ben Simmons ever did, plus he's almost 33, so How much more aggressive do you want him to be :russ:

Embiid is what yall claim yall want in a modern star :martin:
  • Plays through injury
  • Works on his game adding new facets
  • Doesn't try to be friends with everybody in the league
  • Cares about the game to the point of crying over Ls
  • Holds his teammates accountable on some Jordan/Kobe steez
  • Holds himself accountable
  • Leads by example putting team on his back
  • Doesn't play games in the media about his free agency/contract
  • Ain't on social media all crazy being emotional
  • No IG model/stripper fukkery or scandals
  • Bullies people on the court not being all soft, plays like he takes shyt personal and would square up if shyt went left

Like what more yall expect from a modern day athlete :why:

He does these things but I do get the sense that he lacks that hard-to-quantify ability to galvanize the troops so to speak. The lead by example types don't really work out unless there's a more vocal co-captain.

That being said, the timing on this is odd since Embiid is out and saying he isn't an MVP caliber player is ridiculous.

Bruh it's ironic as hell how many dudes on this forum hate women while displaying the same exact catty, gossipy, two-faced, and fickle nature of the same sex they look down up on the daily :mjlol:

He's a front running beta.

Embiid needs to keep his ass in the fukking paint. Period.

fukk all the 3pt shooting weak ass mid range fades and etc, be a man and bang in the fukking paint.

He got too much softness and finesse.

I was the biggest Coach Rivers supporter for years, but it is what it is with him and his consistently bad coaching.
Doc rivers is oblivious to every situation in life you can tell by the way he rocking his hair first breh from that generation not chopping the obvious baldy. Same with coaching he rather stick with deandre out of some sense of loyalty for what he did in the past every time that dude on the floor Miami makes a 10+ run.
