Embiid is the MVP, followed by Giannis. Jokic can't be a 6th seed winning MVP

Jokic “imposed his will” on a warriors team that barely has a single big on the roster and was targeted mercilessly on defense to the point he was sat in decisive possessions to close games…in route to getting sent back to Serbia in 5 games….fam won ONE singular playoff game and been sitting at the crib for weeks lol…what kinda “gotcha” up is this

The thread premise is wrong, but not cause of a goddamn thing Jokic did in the playoffs as an easy first round out (if anything that bolsters the folly of awarding MVP to a 6th seed)….it’s cause Giannis is obviously the true MVP

He's not on Giannis's and Jokic's level due to his durability and can never be your first option if you want a chip because of that.

He'll ALWAYS GAS OUT in the playoffs..

People need to stop looking at his numbers and look at him on the court during the playoffs.

He's a second/third option like Deandre Ayton.

Jimmy leaving Philly was the worst thing that happened to him.

There is no injury excuse.

He was on the floor, he's accountable for his performance.
Miami often double and triple-teamed Joseph Embiid in this series. Had this been Jokic, he would have found ways to find the open shooter and create opportunities for his teammates. Perhaps make this a more competitive series.

Joseph Embiid is a fantastic player. Nikola Jokic is better.

Philadelphia did not lose this series because of Embiid. Miami was the better team. Spoelstra the better coach.
But the holes in Embiid's game are glaring to anyone willing to look.

Thinking that Jokic was a bad MVP candidate is preposterous.

- Giannis crashed out in the 1st round
- 76ers winning playoff games without Embiid.

Judging by The Seum logic, how can either of them be MVP?

:lupe:
