Drug addiction, divorce, getting kicked out at 16 and hustling in the streets, friends dying, etc.

He's talked about all this in his music but not in a sad song. That aint his style. More like bars here and there.

Jay z is the same way. He spent the bulk of his career shytting on people and being a scumbag in his raps but was called the goat way before dropping one album where he actually had a message

The only problem is “Stan” & “Lose Yourself” stand as some of the best songs of any genre in the 21st century
