Why? Because he came up from the Underground? Because he hasn't sold himself out different type of products and sponsorships (if he did, he'd be #1 on Forbes, you know it), never really did collabs for the sake of collabs so his art has stayed true, didn't sell out to Hollywood despite millions thrown at him, never worked with pop stars outside of 2/3 songs in the last few years and never been a media whore who's pretty much been complete away from the spotlight when it's not album time.

Nobody gives a fukk about Alchemist production
He's done a couple joints with Alchemist before, but they've been on other projects, just not his solo albums. It doesn't have to do with being pop or not. If Em has used Just Blaze, Havoc, Mr. Porter, and DJ Khalil. In general he picks bad beats but dope music is dope music. Eminem and Alchemist could make good music together, and I think that's all the dude was saying.
EDIT: For the record I'm not a big Eminem fan and I don't like this song at all. But if Em is going to respect Kendrick and Alchemist enough to put them in his lead single it'd be dumb not to enlist their talents for what they're actually good at.
