What else does he have to rap about? He should call it a career tbh
I never understood stuff like this, this dude obviously loves hiphop and there's an insane demand for his shyt.. Why would he quit?
I think people got that analogy from sports, the difference is that no one who loves Kobe would want to see him go 3 for 18. Eminems demand is characterized by his sales and it's pretty disgusting.

:upsetfavre: its over marshall we're not checking for you.... its not hot in the streets anymore.
luckily for him, the streets is just a tiny tiny part of the market for hiphop albums and shows.

I agree and I am a fan of his, but I feel like it wouldn't be worth it if he's just gonna be revisiting old topics(his mom, shock value shyt, being bullied growing up). He can obviously still rap and he is a true hip-hop head that loves the art but I think at this point the music is starting to suffer because its getting a little ridiculous to hear him rap about some of this stuff at this point in his life. I love Em, but honestly I think Recovery would have been a fitting final album.

Why?

Who wants that garbage?

The only way I could see it being okay is if instead of making a bunch of pop crap he makes the album like "bucket list" just filled with all his dream collabos. Make tracks with rza, redman, nas, pharoah monch etc.

Bring some good hip hop to his lame fans.

hopefully Em finally uses Alchemist production.

if this is a double album, I don't care if the other cd is just strictly for radio, gimme like 8-10 HIP HOP songs & and songs featuring SH, maybe couple of Detroit artists & maybe a Hov (or another mainstream mc) feature & I'll be happy as hell.

probably not gonna happen but :manny:

I mean I wish the same thing for a lot of people I fukk with, just look at all the old R&B legends still putting out shyt.
That p*ssy Lionel Richie even dropped a country album last year or whatever it was, but if they still love it I can't hate..

The good thing that comes out of it is that for every album they drop they might have 2 new bangers that they can add to their shows, I saw Stevie Wonder a couple of years ago and it was the best shyt I've seen in my life. And for people that saw him in the 80s, 90s and in the 2000s that might've been a dope experience cause he had several new bangers added to his set to go along with all the classics.

It really upsets me how Em is shytting on his own legacy. He would be top 5 DOA if he stopped at Curtain Call :to:

I don't know anyone personally, I mean I know a few girls and shyt buy his albums when they here songs like Not Afraid, the one with Rihanna and whatever the fukk.
But I don't know anyone who I respect as far as music goes that's checking for him, he still moves mad records though which means that people are checking for him. People are checking for Iggy Azelea, One Direction, Justin Bieber, Jennifer lopez and those cats too though :to:

Eminem is still a fantastic spitter but my man lost all his creativity, delivery and just overall sense of creating a song.

I thought I had "grown up" and just couldn't fukk with his type of music but then I played Infinite, SSLP, MMLP and ES and he's still in my top 10 based on those projects :wow:.

The hit/miss ratio has been insane since he "fell of", relapse had a couple joints: Underground, Hello, Same song and Dance and Deja Vu and Recovery had some serious joints: 25 to live, Cold wind blows, Seduction and on fire. But a vast majority was just .

Cats seemed to fukk with MMLP2 though, I mean technically speaking he outshined the whole game it was just that the songs were

pretty much summed up his career here
