i haven't seen the review but apparently The Source said he sounded too much like Nas & AZliked the album but sounded too much like Nas, he did have some gems on there tho. Doesn't match Hov reasonable doubt imo tho

they might not actually write down the words the same. i've heard (and seen) Em writes like a maniac on anything & everything, words all over the place, different angles, upside down, 4 bars here, 2 bars there, 12 bars there, then pieces it all together. i haven't seen AZ's rhyme books but i assume he's more straight forward, writing on one piece of paper, 16 bars down the line.this is not a "fact" imo they write nothing alike.
This Cacs first 4 albums are Infinite, sslp, mmlp, the eminem show.
That has to be one of the best runs in hiphop history![]()
you gotta be joking
One classic and 3 great how many rappers you know put outwidely expected nice albums back to back like that? You getting caught up in your feelings breh. the beats plod along for the most part. That's all your opinion breh and you'er welcome to it my opinion is I think ems first four fits in with the acts you named. I said one of the best not the bestthe "classic" i assume you're talking about MMLP, i challenge that off top. Infinite is average at best, the beats are pretty weak and apart from the title song, it's nothing special.
SSLP is a good album, i bought it when it dropped but again nothing special about it tho Em didn't even really get that big off SSLP, it' wasn't until 2001 that he really started his rise.
MMLP - great album, some classic songs but when was the last time you really listened to it? replay value for any Em album has always been pretty low for me personally. having said that, it's the closest he has gotten to a classic even thought i think it's far from it.
The Eminem Show - the production really weighs this down IMO i don't get what other people see in songs like Sing For The Moment, Soldier & My Dad's Gone Crazy. the highlights are great, Til I Collapse, Cleanin Out My Closet, White America, etc but the lows are really low, Hailie's Song, Without Me, Ken Kaniff skitsthe beats plod along for the most part.
they're a far cry from the 3-4 album runs of rappers like Rakim, Ice Cube, Redman, Spice 1, EPMD, OutKast, Geto Boys, Ghostface Killah, ATCQ, De La, KRS, CMW/MC Eiht, Devin The Dude, Nas, The Roots, Pac, DJ Quik, etc
You can't explain that to nikkas who have no concept of multi's and shyt like that. I bet a lot of these nikkas couldn't even put one together, or define what one really is.this is not a "fact" imo they write nothing alike.

Capital Punishment
You lose.
nope not imo you lose.
I'm glad you have an opinion. It's wrong.
No fukkin way is Infinite more lyrical than Capital Punishment.
No matter what track you list I could post 5 from that album that body it.
