Eminem is hip hop. He is not a vulture. The end. You can dislike him, and lord knows I laugh at his last 5 albums...but he is not some dude who waltzed into rap to make money with no understanding or connection to the culture. Hip hop is art, it does not belong to one race. Get over it. It's black culture that has taken over the globe.

The term is culture thief.

Stop trying to let culture thieves create false verbiage and words.
that explain whom they are.
Then give them fake ass credence for a term they misappropriated. So it could be made to not connote their behavior as well.
nikkaz talembout culture vulture are creating and citing bullshyt terms.
derived from my verbiage of supplying culture thief into the standard lexicon here and all of online in a culture based dialogue and commentary.
Then stealing my lexicon, verbiage and hiding his culture thief face ass hands.

You sound like a commercial sellout culture thief saying culture vulture.
How you gon use a sellout words.
to describe his level of misappropriation. Like they are not guilty of misappropriation.
Especially if you are culturally viable. You know the word to be culture thief to begin with.

Youse fake, toy and a phone saying culture vulture, period.

Lol at little buzz....you probably wasn't old enough to witness 50s buzz back then

You idiots. I'll keep addressing y'all since y'all wanna show out so bad. 50 had a buzz, yes, NATIONALLY. But In Da Club is what made him INTERNATIONAL. The world is bigger than America. When 50 does a show in Africa or Barcelona, you think he's ending the show off with Wanksta? :aicmon:

Y'all need to get off my dikk about this shyt cuz everything I've said was facts. Y'all thinking local, I'm thinking worldwide. Why you think on YouTube there's a video for in da club labeled (international version) or whatever? Do you see the same for Wanksta? Again, cut it out. Y'all wanna show out and look cool amongst your e-pals for reps. It's corny.

"pump it up" was 2003.
"get low" was on an '02 album but didn't drop as a single til 03.
"in da club" may have been LATE LATE '02, which is essentially '03.

and we've ventured off-topic.

You only got me on pump it up. So you wanna cookie now? We only off topic cuz of you. Wanksta was big, but it wasn't the single that made him international like In Da Club an'd y'all know this too.

Whilst I’m no Em fan, this is simply just wrong

He hasn’t picked off the culture and only given back to white people. He has brought through only black artists, created Shade45 (or at least his name to it) and brought through a host of artists including DJ Premier and Angela Yee who had programs on the station

Em is a part of hip hop.

OP are all the black players vultures too makin millions off a 'white' game?

:mjpls:
false equivalency. black players transformed the game of basketball. eminem hasnt transformed rap in any way other than cringingly talking about killing his wife and opening the industry up to legions of mountain dew drinking white people who think hes the only good rapper.

i just wish white people/Jews would stop perverting the culture. in the early 90s it was X hats and Africa medallions and black pride. ascending. now it’s in a dumb decline. those middle men Jews are the perverted gatekeepers of mainstream hip hop. hip hop should not look like this mainstream in 2018. soft feminine black men and oversexualized black women.

You can't really compare the 90's to now. And it is naive to believe that those same Jews weren't in power then. The reason why that pride was present in the 90's is because Black Pride was profitable. You saw X hats because Malcolm X was a huge film. Spike Lee was a leading director and he was making films like X and Do The Right Thing, which were huge cultural movements. Public Enemy was a huge part of that soundtrack. These same people saw that Black pride was bringing people to record stores, theaters, etc. Therefore it was made a priority that these images were pushed until it was no longer popular and they moved on to something else. And even on the 90's, some of the more hardcore rap songs had gay lyrics ("Dre Day" and some DMX songs have overtly gay lyrics that go beyond suspect and can't be saved by attaching "no homo").

The closest we have to that now is Black Panther, which is a work of fiction based on a comic book character. The soundtrack to that is TDE and it really isn't a soundtrack in the way that PE was during that era. Tyler Perry and Lee Daniels are now the "it" Black directors in place of Spike Lee, John Singleton, and the Hughes Brothers. You get effeminate Black male characters because people were showing up in droves to see the stage plays. Because it made money, outsiders saw the profitability and offered Perry a bigger platform and you got Madea movies. Lee Daniels blew up off of cheese like Monster's Ball and now you have TV Shows pushing Lee's agenda. That is why it is no surprise there's male artists walking around with purses and wearing dresses because they only see profit. If tomorrow the trend was to go back to Black pride, it would be in again, but we are so far removed from that era (which deteriorated in the 90's), that it is not likely.

I'd actually place dudes like Migos or ur average Dr. Seuss, Mother Goose simplfied mumble rap in the culture vulture category before i put Em there. (yes u can be black and still be a culture vulture, Puff, Birdman etc are examples of that)

Vanilla Ice is a culture culture, Eminem is actually talented (although the music he's made lately is terrible, lyrically he's always been elite) and could be put on a track with Nas, Jay-Z, Kool G Rap, Biggie, Pun and not be outshined and embarassed.

Those mumble rappers you guys dikkride these days would all look out of place on a track with those artist mentioned.
How are Birdman, Puff, and Migos culture vultures? :mjlol:

And mumble rappers aren’t looking to hang on a track with Kool G Rap. Not everything has to be lyrical my guy. :dead:

He has made hundreds of millions of dollars making a black artform after studying black geniuses like nas, g rap, rakim, big, pac, etc. How much of that money has he given back to the black community? maybe he does things in Detriot I don't know, but I do know he made types calling a black woman all types of ******s. I do know he is friends with that white supramacists kid rock. I know he has never spoken out about black issues outside of that back trump diss yo sell records.

The fact nikkas still give him a pass and ride his dikk is disgusting, he shown himself to be an entitled CAC his whole career, attempting to destroy anyone who has the audacity to critique him.

No nikka everyone that’s white isn’t a vulture or racist or whatever bullshyt label y’all come up with.

Every black woman sleeping with a white man isn’t a bedwench

every black man that isn’t militant isn’t a c00n.

Relax log off and go outside and interact with real people some times. You would understand the world better.
