Yep.

No reason ALC can't cook up something with a similar tempo. And there's no reason for him to not be able to slow down the flow and hop back into his natural pocket and come up with something at LEAST on par with what he's spitting now if not way better.

:mjcry:Classic Em

Closest we got for this was My Darling.

An ALC/Dre produced album would be amazing.

Hate to touch on it again but Stepping Stone is great. Best song since his comeback in 2009.

THIS is the Eminem i wanted to hear for all these years: him rapping about real, relatable subject matter, no ridiculous serial killer tropes or corny fart jokes, no accents, no double time flow, no forced punchlines, no robotic flow/cadence, no choppy/fragmented flow, no screaming, no cramming a million words into a bar to try and impress, no corny acoustic beats with a pop star hook. Just Em spitting real and emotional shyt over his own great production :wow:

shyt brought me back to The Eminem Show :mjcry:

Dude needs to go back to making his own beats and rapping about subjects he's genuinely emotional about.

Not a fan of the hook. Wish it was a sample or scratches but the bars, flow and cadence was vintage Em.

Hiphop music gets its best sonic elements from Soul, Funk, Gospel, Jazz, and Disco. How y'all ever got into an un-rhythmic, stale sounding white boy is beyond me :scust:

Well, I listened to it.

He's still trying to fit too many words in one bar and see how fast he can rap on every track. He really needs to let his flow breathe and not be so robotic with it.

But this is the closest he's gotten to an actual hip hop album since Relapse. For once, he left the awful singing and pointless pop features at home. No Skylar Grey or Rick Rubin or Alex da Kid in sight. Jessie Reyez is here, but I can take or leave the tracks she's on. There's nothing as bad as "Remind Me" or "Heat" on this album, which is a good thing.

This is the direction his music should have taken once he came back. Eminem made a living out of not caring what people thought and making music his way, but he traded in Relapse 2 for Recovery because Relapse didn't do MMLP/Eminem Show numbers. It turns out that the only time Eminem does anything different is when people hate what he's currently doing.

If this is the best he can do at this point in his career, then so be it. But he needs to keep this energy if he plans on making more albums. The Recovery-Revival era has to die.

Thank God he just decided to have bars. :wow:
