I don't understand how people can think Joe Budden could give Eminem the business when he's lost almost every battle he's been in. Punched in the face by Raekwon, roasted by lil B,multiple woman beating charges...

He has a very devoted small base of fans from Joe Budden TV that follow him blindly and have a disproportionate presence online because he only sells like 8-10k when he releases an album

Joe Budden is very talented but clearly delusional, he believes he should be mentioned in the top 10 rappers when he has never delivered a classic LP or even sold enough records to be considered.
He should just do his podcast and not engage Eminem. I say this as a fan because it wont end well for him if he jumps out the window on this....

Let's look at reality

Eminem dissed and battled pop stars a lot. Taking shots at people like Will Smith, Brittney Spears

He got bested by Ja Rule

Royce ate him up

If he had trouble giving Ja rule a K.O. then what makes you think Budden can't win?

Record sales don't make you top 10 either but Joe isn't top 10 and neither is Eminem.

A battle would be an even match not some washout like stans wanna pretend.

Back on Earth , everybody is giving praises to this album ...from other Hip Hop Artist to Radio personalities that know more about
Hip Hop than the average poster in the booth lol but somehow this album is trash.

Well this is where we fundamentally disagree, because I don't find "You worship D12's balls, you're sacrilegious" to be superior art. I don't find it artful at all. In fact, I find it the exact opposite of art. It's trash.

Besides being one of the corniest punches Ive ever heard in my life, he's just coming off like a hypersensitive bytch. Dude can't handle anyone criticizing Revival even though he knows deep down Revival is ass juice...can't handle a dude saying his daughter is hot even though he spent an entire career taking about raping female pop stars. His hypocrisy is annoying AF...

Subject matter has always been Marshall's Achilles heel. He ain't got nothing of relevance to say, that's why he's spending a whole album whining that people didn't like his last album. This is why the Paul skits are always my favorite parts of Em's albums.

I'm all for battling in hip hop too but his reasons for dissing is just lame and born out of his own insecurity, unlike other disses and battles...sorry, this shyt right here is midlife crisis music

And you think Tyler, Earl and Budden are wack? Not saying they have catalogues of timeless classics, but they've all dropped heat at various points in their careers.

You gotta factor in flow and presentation, flow is why I brought up how he sounds on here sonically... and at the end of the day... thats where the music is. Theres a reason why MF doom doesnt resonate with everyone, or why mural by lupe for some tickles the left side of the brain more than the right. Cadence, presentation and flow. in comparison to yachty, pump, xayn, etc the combination of skill, rhyme schemes and most importantly...flow, is vastly superior...you're ignoring all that to point out some gripes with a few lines...in comparison to a bunch of artists with wacker flow and presentation who would get swallowed on the same song if em was rapping like this.

If someone never listened to rap, and it was your job to influence them to, would you show them most contemporary artists? Lol i wouldn't. Ive tried and they end up not feeling it. You show them shyt like "Fall".

I appreciate when someone is actually...flowing in world where that shyt doesnt exist anymore.

But i agree eminems recents albums were ALL trash, and this is the first one since back in day where he is actually flowing like he knows who he is again lol. So this is coming from someone who wrote em' off.

Somebody could release something that i relate to lyrically but if the flow is mediocre then i can care less. And the flow here is certainly not mediocre lol

Budden is a great battle rapper, on record and on stage (he was giving Hollow that work, he just has no stage presence)...Eminem is another level of dope tho. It would be great for hip hop, bar heavy, I think Em would eat him tho
