Joyner is aight, he can spit but he's not that interesting.
He did hang with Em on that track nicely though.
it's a cool 4/5 album. Only Em album I've liked since the MMLP/D12/8 Mile beastly lyrical run from back in the day.
But shyt I straight cringed when I got to track 4, was it? Damn, dude couldn't go even 5 tracks without talking about his girl problems?

This shyt trash like everything else he's put out his early work has aged absolutely awful and it's 10x better than all his new shyt

maybe im just over the eminem thing, i never really was a fan like that, but i did respect his lyricism, im just not feeling this album at all. few wow moments shock moments by calling some folks out, but overall, the project is not something i would find myself listening to more than maybe 1 more time.

Solid project from Em. I'm sick of his sped up flow though. Dude is too talented lyrically to spit all those words together like that, sh*t is a chore to listen to at times.
"Ringer, Stepping Stone & Fall were the best tracks. "Greatest" is eh. I wasn't impressed with the "Lucky You" or "Not Alike" tracks. Crazy how lyrically talented Eminem is, he has some of the WORST choruses in hip-hop history, just straight cringeworthy.
I just find the whole narrative of this album to be funny. He's really upset that people sh*tted on that trash ass "Revival" album, and this is what took him to sound inspired again.
It's alarming how some of hip-hops heavyweights all dropped albums this year and NONE of them are album of the year.

Hiphop listeners are spoiled if an em album like this would have dropped 10 years ago it would have been chaos.

I also can't name an album of the year this year sofar.... everyone trying to sound like everyone else or they just aren't good.
Em might win this by default....
