Kamikaze was way overrated. I might have to listen again but i'm not getting the hype on that song.
Well this is where we fundamentally disagree, because I don't find "You worship D12's balls, you're sacrilegious" to be superior art. I don't find it artful at all. In fact, I find it the exact opposite of art. It's trash.
Besides being one of the corniest punches Ive ever heard in my life, he's just coming off like a hypersensitive bytch. Dude can't handle anyone criticizing Revival even though he knows deep down Revival is ass juice...can't handle a dude saying his daughter is hot even though he spent an entire career taking about raping female pop stars. His hypocrisy is annoying AF...
Subject matter has always been Marshall's Achilles heel. He ain't got nothing of relevance to say, that's why he's spending a whole album whining that people didn't like his last album. This is why the Paul skits are always my favorite parts of Em's albums.
I'm all for battling in hip hop too but his reasons for dissing is just lame and born out of his own insecurity, unlike other disses and battles...sorry, this shyt right here is midlife crisis music
And you think Tyler, Earl and Budden are wack? Not saying they have catalogues of timeless classics, but they've all dropped heat at various points in their careers.
Actually I kinda fukk with his shots at Budden on the low tho lol...he kinda got at him nice
mike will made itProduction is mad average. Basic ass trap type production that most everybody using nowadays. Are dudes trying to save they budget by buying average ass beats instead of real fire now? Case in point: The track with Lucas shoulda been crazy. Two MC's of that level shoulda got a real production master doing the track to hype them up and challenge them. Instead it was just that droning, monotonous type beat. Only track that stood out to me was Falling. It sounds "different" than everything else. Still kinda basic, but has multilayered production. Who produced that one? Lyrically Em on POINT tho. I hated the album on first listen, but on second go round it's growing on me. I had to lower my expectations for the production.
he spent an entire career taking about raping female pop stars
The bar gets lowered for this cac...
Tyler is a better rapper then Eminem today. Hands down. I hope him and Earl respond. I can see this thread is gonna be about sucking off mediocrity from Em as usual.
Also he ain't never said the name Vince Staples once
Wonder why
I'm far from an Eminem fan, but I like hearing mumble rappers get dissed. Not Alike is so good. Mumble rappers got bodied.![]()
No, Em is corny for dissing people he KNOWS won't say shyt back. Story of his fukking career.
