Pitchfork's problem with those albums is (no matter what they write) is that listening to Jay-Z or Eminem in 2013 is not considered "cool" or trendy...and they dont have that 'fake artistic' vibe someone like Kanye has.

That Paste review was filled with so many minor inaccuracies that it was hard to take serious. I'm a stickler for that kind of stuff. For example, he claims "Bad Guy" is following Stan again, and that the beat switch happens 7 minutes in. And he claims Rihanna sings the hook to "Legacy."
Based on all those songs that leaked (most were crap imo), it seems like most songs would suck (unless there's stuff locked up from 97-03). Although I would be interested in hearing what was scrapped from Relapse 2.
Lol yea if you think the stans on this board are bad, they're 100x worse on there. People are rating that album as high as 8, 9, even 10/10. People on threre say it's flawless. I feel like Yeezus is going to be looked at the way people look at The Shining..they say they don't like horror movies but they love The Shining. So for people who say they don't like hip hop or don't like "that rap music" they will say they love Yeezus. Em and Jay are better rappers than Kanye so for that alone, I don't get their ratings. I'm surprised they reviewed My Name is My Name as favorably as they did.
