upon first listen, it's a mish mash of tracks (for better or worse)...lyrically it's good for the most part...still some corny ass/forced punchlines (but that's on par)...but I guess he's on a roll like tootsie or behind that ass like the Heimlich




but jesus fukking christ...someone get this man a fukking ear...this fukker IS motherfukking tone deaf (alfred's theme is pretty crappy....while sampling the hitchcock theme is a novel idea...this ain't it). These beats are fukking horrid for the most part...pretty bad choruses too (that Gnat chorus is particularly bad)

What do you want Em to do with his time? Drugs, wasting his gift and not releasing albums?

Em is doing what's right. He is disciplined and releasing quality work.

Mega artists at his age die off and do not drop music close to their core sound.

Jay Z, Nas and Em are the rare few in any genre to keep going. Other than Bob Dylan and a few others.

Em loves hip hop so much he blessed us with new work.

One track was almost a tear jerker on this and he just talks about hip hop. It's early in the album forget the title.

Also like Nas he is aging very well.
He looks very healthy. And he gave a shout out to King Von. Great album to me.

Calm down Marshall, we know you need to mention the latest deceased rapper you probably never heard of or fukk with in your life.

I don't know. Em's new album gave me that thought. Like what if something that big was in the works?

Brooklyn Ac already sampled that same Hitchcock theme in the late 90s. I do like Em's version too tho

Nothing much to say, shyt to bland beats, those corny af lines he seems to have sprinkled in every song and forced double time flows - which in his head probably thinks are cRAzY. Discombobulated and She Loves Me were a welcome break flow wise probably coz Dre produced them and said "No" to that bullshyt . No thanks.

Royce or maybe even Kendrick should EP an album for Eminem, someone who will get him on some beats with some more space in them so he can play to his strengths.

I feel like Em is sounding a bit more relaxed on this than he did on Kamikaze and on the few albums before that. Idk about replay value but I enjoyed listening to this. At this point it is what it is.

Ironically enough his and Snoop's newer albums have a lot of in common, both of them still show glimpses of their greatness on every new album, but can't really keep it up for the entire album, even if the albums are listenable. And they're not comparable stylistically or in any other way.

At this point I kinda know what to expect from a new Eminem album, it's not like he's gonna re-invent himself or drop a classic. And it's not like he needs to at this point. A few dope verses and a few good songs/album is enough.

I honestly think the drugs fried his brain. Usually after taking drugs for so long like that it alters your brain and you're just never the same person again.
