This album is def alot better on 2nd listen. The 1st half of this album is pretty good actually. It falls off after Gnat to me. Yall didnt like " Alfrids Theme"? I thought it was vintage Em. The beat is silly but its solid. Alot better then some of the other beats. I couldnt believe my ears when Tone deafs beat came on :gucci:

The hate is ridiculous in this thread
27 pages of hate?
what's wrong with that picture?

The songs before gnat are all fukkin fireee
ya the hooks kinda mainstream but whatever man, it's a different Eminiem to me, didnt know he could flow like this and make music like this.

first listen really enjoyed it, I need to give it a few more spins though
But a very enjoyable album so far

Alfred's Theme was fire. He could have not done the speed rapping at the end, but, otherwise, flames. Even with the silly jokes, but it works on that beat.

Not listening to this album cause it’s been a hard enough year as is...but I’m curious to know how much of Eminem’s spins are comprised of “hate listens”? I gotta imagine a good chunk of his numbers are just cats giving it a quick listen when it drops to clown on it the next day. I wonder how big of a drop in streaming numbers his albums would see if all the “hate listens” stopped?
You tend to forget that Eminem has legit a HUGE global fan base. One of the last veteran rappers that still have that.

If you look at his streaming numbers over the last decade including this year he was in the top 10. There aren’t enough “HATE” listens out there for Em. His fans are legit loyal as hell.

Take this thread for example. No matter what Em drops, folks come in here just to say he trash.

6ix9ine drops a record the thread will barely get to 2 pages...:mjlol:

Side A and Side B is literally night and day.

Side A sounds like an album where he spent a year to create and he sounds focused.

Side B sounds like Em got bored on lockdown and went from recording a few deluxe tracks to recording an album worth of material. The records range from mid to average. Even from how he is rapping, he sounds more laid back and is just rapping to rap. It just sounds like an album he made when he was bored. And that’s how it feels.

This. Side A isn't perfect, but it sounds like The Eminem Show compared to Side B. I'm assuming most of the deluxe songs were recorded over the last year and there are maybe a few outtakes from the original recording sessions (like the first few songs).

Also, going back to Side A made me appreciate "Never Love Again" more. That song's pretty solid.

Zeus is not bad, that laid back flow is good for what it is. I've heard that sample from somewhere though.
