Great album.

Was this song for Relapse or Relapse 2? I can't remember when it leaked.

The type of song you don't wanna listen to, but it's a great song.

Nah just something he had stashed that he couldn't finish due to the topic...then some a$$hole leaked it.

:mjcry:

I think a couple joints from Relapse 2 ended up on recovery.

I always thought that was one of the left over joints from the sequel that was normal enough to throw in there.

it's such a shame all day at my work I have to listen to all these garbage Eminem tracks with some pop bytch singing the hooks and him screaming.

The best song he made since he came back which could have blown radio away he never released and I can't find on youtube right now.

Reps and Dap for the person who can get me Cocaine with Jazmine Sullivan. Both of them killed that.

I remember at the time I was kinda  at the accents but as the years went by I've appreciated this shyt more. The best tracks from relapse & refill are about 4-4.5 mics imo.

Stay Wide Awake, Deja Vu, Same Song And Dance, Drop A Bomb On Em, Buffalo Bill, and Hello are some of my favorite Em joints. And ironically I remember stay wide awake and same song and dance getting shytted on the most by mainstream reviews when to me they were my two favorite tracks.

This album is wayyyy better then MMLP 2 which is basura trash.

Just finished re listening to it

Time has been kind to this album

The accents definitely were a distraction back in 09’ but now listening back to it, it added to the creepy and horrorcore content he rapped about and those accents are far better than the screaming and robot voice he started rolling with afterwards

Hello
Bagpipes From Baghdad
Same Song & Dance
Must Be The Ganja
Stay Wide Awake
Deja Vu
My Mom
Insane
Medicine Ball
Beautiful
Underground

Only missteps were Old Times Sake and Crack A Bottle.

Dre’s production on here is like night and day compared to anything he produced after this, specifically that Missionary album. It definitely sounds even more refreshing now and you can tell he really tailor made these beats for him.

The Chronic and Doggystyle production is a 10 out of 10

I’d say the production on Relapse is 8 out of 10

big facts :myman:

my favorite track is Stay Wide Awake his rhyming is unbelievable on that song

Beautiful is the song that seems out of place since its an older Bass brothers track but its such a classic it needed to be heard :wow:

and the production like you said fit the theme of the album perfectly this was a top tier concept album

This album is more appreciated now after all the other albums that came after it

Same Song & Dance is another, Bagpipes, and Hello so damn smooth and he just snapping

Yessir. Dre put elbow grease into those beats

personally think that despite his talent, he simply is a strange dude

the fact that he hates this album just adds to that.

regardless of the accents, the creativity and craftsmanship are laudable

never had much subject matter outside his core personal views so this is probably the album that makes the most sense outside his prime years

He only hates because it didn’t connect among the casual listeners and critics didn’t cling to it like they had his previous work

He should to release all of the songs from Relapse 2
