I agree with this in principle. If the hate was just basketball related, then he'd be good. Her hate comes from more than just basketball though, there are racial connotations here.

i'm kinda struggling to understand how this has turned into a conversation about whether angel can take what she dishes out.

HVL literally sat up there and told people she sees with her own eyes how the response to her trash talk is different from how people respond to angel.

search "dirty debutantes" on google and see what pops up at the top (or dont, if you're at work). that's the phrasing -- amongst others -- used to describe LSU in an article that also equated UCLA as "milk and cookies". so is it all ok because angel talks her shyt? cause if that's the argument people are making, i'm never gonna agree.

i expect her to take what she dishes out. but there are examples in my face of people going a step past trash talk with her, and... nah.

The question is, if she’s ALWAYS been like that, going back as far as HS, and she didn’t start receiving the hate until they won the title, why is that? Make no mistake, it’s because she dared to do that against “America’s Darling.” Angel would not have received this hate had they beat South Carolina for the title last year. It’s clearly about race.
