They would abandon tanking and look to free agency. Tanking only teaches young players how to lose. When was the last time a team successfully tanked? Name me a couple and I'll fall back.

96-97 Spurs
02-03 Cavs
07-08 Sonics.. 09 Thunder if you want to count Westbrook too
11-12 Golden state.. To a lesser extent but they would've lost their pick (Harrison Barnes)

3 in the last 20 years doesn't bide well imo. I believe that had they got the pg they need then they should have simply tried to get as good as they can and draft the best player available.

What would tanking get them if they do get the #1 pick? Simmons? Can he play the three yet? It may be a good bargaining chip but they would have had a great one in LA being LA and having a team headed in the right direction.

You are aware the Lakers can lose their pick this year right?

Mudiays shot looks so much better than it did at the beginning of the year. He'll most definitely have the form straightened out by next season after a full offseason with a shooting coach. Plus it seems like he's always in the gym so I expect him to have plus shooting for a PG by year 3.

After all the John wall comparisons during draft time, I see a lot of d-wade in his after watching him for almost a full season. He's already near unguardable going to the rim, just tends to miss too many layups. He's gonna be a great defender, and his vision is unbelievable for a 20 year old. He's gonna be a monster.

If y'all have the chance, watch him play. Just reading his box score doesn't do him justice. He's gonna be a guy who makes a huge leap between years 2/3 or 3/4 and becomes one of the best guards in the league, and people are gonna act like its a surprise. It's actually really easy to see, but no ones paying attention to Denver.

His shot being azz is kind of a bid deal for a PG. I mean ppl shyt on Rondo and have for the longest cause he can't shoot...and this dude is somehow an even worse shooter. As bad as Rondo's shot is he ain't never shot 35%..but you dudes on here that will shyt on Rondo yet hype up this kid
Rondo still can't shoot. Mudiay is young so lets see if he can develop a solid jumper.

The FG% and 3% pt are :scust: but he's been improving in those two areas. I don't think he'll be better than the torch bearer DLo, but Mudiay is going to be one of the better PGs at the very least.

You do if you're trying to convince people that the guy you're bigging up is the better player when he's obviously not
