I'll never fault russy for playing hard but you can't tell me a guy goes from 5.7 rebounds 3 years ago to over 10 and that's just a big coincidence. No one has improved their rebounding like that at his size in the 60+ year history of the NBA

you don't all of a sudden make a jump in rebounding like this in your 9th year being that size. He isn't boxing out guys twice his height or getitng rebounds like rodman, like someone said he's getting a bunch of uncontested rebounds a games. that's a lot different.

NBA is more about excitement than who is winning. The Spurs were by far the best team for many years but not too many gave a fukk. Regardless of your opinions of Russ as a player, he is exciting and for that reason he is good for the league, not bad as thread title states.

Westbrook is the last of a dying breed. He's all we got left from the iso era that Jordan created. I can't think of anyone with that killer instinct left in the league. You know what's bad for the league superstars going to a championship team. Elite players joining up instead of competing each other. The ghost of the slam dunk contest. 82 games instead of a shorter season. Back to back games. Teams that tank. Weather Westbrook stat pads or not it's way more things that's bad for the NBA before u get to Some One who is gonna put on a show game in and game out
