He has a stronger fan base, sells more records and makes bigger hits that's factual but buzz I'd say Ross got that.

98% of threads are about current events, so if you're out touring or recording music why the fukk would one make threads about you unless you're doing something else?

Every time he actually does something, the thread is active.
10 threads with a lot replies, is a lot better than 100 threads with few replies. If you're sense for buzz and relevance is based on the coli thread count.

album was underwhelming. the problem, i thnk, is he'd been sitting on some that material yrs and he's capable of much better. then some just wasn't that great. friday night lights shouldve been the album...its been a yr but still, i don't feel he's lost all momentum. he's still popular. he needs too drop a mixtape or anygivensuday before the album tho.

The problem is, Cole's music is all head over heart.

Everything he does comes across as premeditated. His delivery on tracks, the mood of the beats and the content always seems so calculated. Whether it's some introspective joint or a banger, I never feel he's instinctive when he makes his music.

So essentially his music has no personality. On a technical level everything is there, but the music has no soul or feeling, and that's what really makes music special.

Yeah, he's an artist I tried to get into, but the songs had that imitation crab meat feel and I wanted some real seafood, b.

On top of that, the horrible single he dropped with accompanying atrocious video in which he was hanging out next to a basketball court with the Bert from Sesame Street unibrow pretty much let me know he was one to pass on.

It's amusing how Kendrick has become the new Outkast, where despite other artists gushing about his talent, a wide swath of fans thinking he makes dope music, and critical acclaim he's going to be the new go-to example for fans of "eh" rappers to use in their "hold up, you like Kendrick Lamar but you don't like cornball rapper 734X-delta98?" threads and posts.
