this draft the Hawks are in the lottery. The Spurs are in the lottery. 2 lottery picks. and another future unprotected from the Hawks.
OKC, Utah, and the Nets also got a lot of picks but many are protected. Spurs EASILY have the best draft pick package.

The draft is in June and the Hawks pick is lottery right now for this draft. Spurs too have a lottery pick. The draft lottery will see how good both picks are.
Better do it now cause I don't see the Spurs not making the playoffs next year. Same with the Hawks when Jalen Johnson returns. So those future picks won't be worth more than late first.

No it wont. Its not the 90s or 2000s anymore. You gotta have a legit squad and injury breaks to win in this league. We just watched Giannis and Dame and role players with chip pedigree be up and down the last year and a half and get bounced in rd 1 by the Pacers twice. Any team he gets traded to will have to gut itself. Spurs would be the only exception since I think they actually have space to absorb him. And he is 30 with miles and his own injury history and a game that isnt built for aging. And I say all this as a fan
