Good for them. Sometimes, a jolt like this is what a person needs for them to have the courage to move on and do better in life. As someone else already stated, even Mickey D’s is a step up.

Things like this tend to push people to build themselves up. To do better. To go back to school like they’ve been wanting to do for so long and stuff like that.

For many of those Sonic workers, a year is going to by and they are going to wake up one morning and look around, and then think back to where they were a year ago, and how they’d still be there if this never happened, and they are going to see that being forced to quit Sonic was the best thing that could’ve happened to them.

My first job I was making just a few dollars more than that with a smile on my face. :mjcry:

But I understand the unpleasantries of the food business. These food runners are going back and forth nonstop. And now that Sonic's has card machines, they aren't seeing as much cash as they used to. Wouldn't be surprised if average tips have gone down since those card machines.
