Yeah the story reeked of bullshyt from day one. WWE was just looking for a reason to get rid of dude, but fail to see that breh is a certified G (No pun). Dude not about the ho shyt and with the company pulling this fast one, it's either pay up and take the L, or have your rep wrecked and take the L.

WWE found out through the media, hours before a major show they had been promoting for months, that one of their champions (who won the belt 3 days after this incident took place) has been the target of a rape investigation for over 3 months and that person didn't disclose it right away. Regardless of innocence or guilt, he deserved to be fired.

Real talk, what benefit does bringing Enzo back even serve? He's a terrible wrestler, and the locker room in general doesn't like him. He may push merchandise, but that'll all probably change now that he's labeled as a rapist. Even if he didn't do it, just being accused as a rapist will stick with him (see Jameis Winston as an example).
