No-one would have really cared if you'd just been honest and humble and would have accepted you are late to Hip Hop and you could have had actual music discussion and learnt something too but you crave attention so much and seek any kind of validation you can get, even if it is from your self.

I got into Hip Hop in 2003 during 50's wave. Eventually I went back and listened to the classics and I became a fan and learned more about the genre. No need to be ashamed if you didn't get into Hip Hop in the 90s. You can't help what came before your time.
