This coming from a "I lost my smile" stan :laff:

Seriously. Shawn didn't drop a singles belt in a straight wrestling match (barring the time he had a broken back. Or the other time that was a joke match to get the belt onto Hunter because he didn't want to drop the European belt to Owen) until the end of fukking 2002.

I bet if Shawn had told one of his fans to their faces that he wasn't going to drop the belt to them, or if this were one of their contracts in play, they would definitely have something else to say beyond "if the promoter drops the belt, drop the belt."

Edit: For those debating the creative control clause: it meant that both Vince and Bret had to agree on finishes for those last 30 days. No agreement, no proper finish. If one went on with a finish, then it would more than likely constitute a breach.

Of all the negative stuff people say about Bret (lives the gimmick, he's kind of an a$$hole, etc.), I don't think I've ever seen someone call him a liar. Bischoff, on the other hand, is known to be full of shyt.
