As a Suns fan, I don't like this deal at all.Bad knees(I understand they might be overconfident in their medical staff, but still) and can't seem to make it through a whole NBA season.Before inflation hit, I thought he was only worth about 8.5/9 mill max....Boy went and doubled that shyt

He's a 3rd tier pg...I'd put him slightly below Kyle Lowry & Ty Lawson.

The only real plus I see with this dude is his defense.


Suns gotta have some shyt up their sleeves.With the signing of Isaiah Thomas, they should be a better team this year.They struggled when Dragic & Bledsoe left the floor.Ish Smith would come in and stagnate the offense because he was scared to attack on offense/ shoot the ball.Isaiah Thomas is a HUGE upgrade.In the Suns system, he might averag 18 & 5 off the bench....He'll be a top 2-3 6th man in the league---don't know if he's ready to take the crown from Jamal Crawford, but he's Michael Jordan compared to Ish Smith.

I don't understand Bledsoe,Dragic, Thomas. All 3 need the ball in their hands and starter minutes. One of them has to go for a big men for the better of this club

i dont mind the dollars changing. i just hope the years stay the same. i used to hate those 7 year contracts. kenyon martin- 7 years 96 million. shoot i still remember billy king giving kenny thomas 7 years 56 million

It's Hornacek's scheme.Dragic sorta turns into Ginobili, Beldsoe's Parker, and they like to constantly attack the defense from those positions.The 3rd pg is very important in doing that.

Like I said in my previous post, the Suns would struggle when Ish Smith would come in the game because he was scared to look for his shot.He was super timid & passive out there.That shyt wore Dragic into the ground last year(Bledsoe missed half the year)..everytime he'd take a breather, the Suns would go cold on offense.Isaiah Thomas will put a stop to that.Not only is he not timid or passive, he's probably a better scorer than Dragic and Bledsoe----not only that, he's also capable of averaging just as many assist as they.

So it's more about constantly keeping that pressure going all game.I think that move made them a better team.Ish Smith was a weak link.Gotta be good to replace that guy with a proven 20ppg scorer with better court vision.Ennis is just a developmental guy---they couldn't pass him up in the draft--good value
