im feeling those rugs though. That's a diff type of business to get into. RESPECT.
Besides... think about it.. can we really appreciate NAS if he had a album full of Erick Sermon early 90s funk tracks.. It doesnt fit his style..
i need to fix my ear for music. Where are the similarities? what am i looking for?

I haven't listened to the interview yet. What was he saying about these tracks?
How the hell could that answer be confusing

he said 4321 was pretty much Put My Hands.. with the pattern/layout/etc.
He used Put My Hands...as the basis to make 4321
yep, he also used dre and ice cube- natural born killaz as the basis to make How high. i dont hear the similarities there either

The process of the modern man:Its just the answer overall im confused with. That you're literally serious. But whatever.
Nas on "Natradamus" lead single spit over an entire EPMD song

damn e double got me listening to 4321 again
the similarities in 4321 was the shakers in the drums & the drum pattern and the bass stabs followed the bassline of Put Your Hands.
he must be talking about this version of How High
you can hear a similarity to NBK, especially the bassline and drums again. i can def see how E Dub could take inspiration from those songs & make his own joints
