They were negligent but this is kind of out there. 75 million? That's kind of wild. In most cases someone gets something like 2 to 9x the economic damage done. Their point is probably that there was not any actual economic damage. If you look at it from that standpoint I understand what they are saying. It has nothing to do with right or wrong.
