This. I'm 27 & despite how positive folks my age & older talk about her music, I've never cared about or been interested in her music.

Brehs what's her biggest radio/mainstream hits? I would't have any idea without looking it up. The only songs I know from her is that 1 single she had with Common back in 2002 AND that calling Tyrone song. The only reason I'm familiar with that Calling Tyrone song is because the song is referenced in the movie "Next Friday" & I've seen that movie a bunch times over the years.

So, I can't even imagine teenagers nowadays being familiar with or caring about her music.
